Veterans Day

“On this Veterans Day, we salute the brave men and women who have put their lives on the line to protect our country and world. It takes immense courage and selflessness to sacrifice years from their families and to endure the hardships of battle. These soldiers have given their lives for a greater cause, and we owe them our utmost gratitude and respect.

It is because of the sacrifices of our veterans that we enjoy the freedom and liberties we have today. They have fought against tyranny and oppression, defending the values of democracy and human rights. We are blessed to live in a country where we can express our opinions and beliefs without fear of persecution, and it's thanks to our veterans.

We must never forget the immense sacrifice that our veterans have made. They have put their lives at risk to protect our country and its people, and we owe them our unending support. Let us honor our veterans every day, for their selflessness, courage, and dedication. We thank you for your service, and we will always be indebted to you.” #VeteransDay #GratefulNation #SupportOurTroops

Indigenous Peoples Day

Indigenous Peoples Day

Indigenous Peoples' Day is a holiday in the US that celebrates and recognizes Indigenous peoples and commemorates their histories and cultures. It is celebrated across the United States on the second Monday in October, and is an official city and state holiday in various localities. It began as a counter-celebration held on the same day as the U.S. federal holiday of Columbus Day, which honors Italian explorer Christopher Columbus. Some people reject celebrating him, saying that he represents "the violent history of the colonization in the Western Hemisphere".

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) image builder is based on the upstream osbuild.org [2] project and is a feature application in RHEL. It is also available as part of RHEL's management capabilities at Red Hat Insights (console.redhat.com).

Juneteenth National Independence Day

Juneteenth National Independence Day

After the Union Army captured New Orleans in 1862, slave owners in Confederate states migrated to Texas with more than 150,000 enslaved Black persons. After President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved Black Americans in Texas remained in brutal bondage, immorally and illegally deprived of their freedom and basic dignity. On June 19, 1865 — over 2 years after President Lincoln declared all enslaved persons free — Major General Gordon Granger and Union Army troops marched to Galveston, Texas, to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation and free the last enslaved Black Americans in Texas.

Those who were freed from bondage celebrated their long-overdue emancipation on June 19. Today, our Nation commemorates Juneteenth: a chance to celebrate human freedom, reflect on the grievous and ongoing legacy of slavery, and rededicate ourselves to rooting out the systemic racism that continues to plague our society as we strive to deliver the full promise of America to every American.
